Car Park.

The halls have their own car park with 47 spaces and 4 accessible spaces.  Beside the access road to the water works there is an area of rough ground that can be used for parking of approx 22 cars.  The car park has been laid out to make room for pedestrian access from the pavement across to the front entrance of the two main halls.  There are at least five bicycle racks/hoops.

Lady Joanna Thornhill Primary School is our direct neighbour and parents often use the hall car park so do be aware that at school drop off and pick up times the car park gets very busy.

MUGA, Recreation Ground, Wye Tennis Club and Playgrounds.

The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) is open use, though can be booked by groups with strong links to Wye. The MUGA diary is on the Booking Diary above.

The Recreation Ground is an open green space leading to Wye Tennis Club courts and a riverside walk.  It is managed by the Parish Council but can be booked for a large event by contacting the Hall Manager - see Contact page.

The Playground for younger children is beside the MUGA on the Recreation Ground.  Across the access road and through the gate is a Jungle Playground for older children. These playgrounds are also managed by the Parish Council.

Wye Tennis Club is a great example of a friendly. welcoming, grass roots, community club.  We have several objectives, the principle being to make tennis accessible and affordable to all who would like to join us & participate in this wonderful game. Tennis is a game that provides fun, friendship & fitness.  It is a game that is played by young and old.  It is a non-contact sport & can be taken up at any time of life, even in your sixties!  We at Wye offer sessions for everyone.  We are fortunate to have the services of three coaches who between them coach an average of 240 juniors and 60 adults.  We have Seniors mornings, Ladies mornings & Club Nights.  We cater for all standards and abilities from the social player to the serious league standard player.  We have at present 16 adult teams competing in various leagues as well as 10 junior teams.  We also run two scholarship courses whereby our most promising juniors receive weekly coaching paid for out of Club funds.  For more info and booking click here
