A fantastic sports facility for Wye.

The aim in providing this MUGA has been to increase open access sporting facilities for 11-18 year olds in Wye.  The MUGA is intended to be open access with bookings kept to a minimum.  This court is designed for Football, Basketball and Netball.  Enjoy yourselves!

MUGA BOOKING POLICY

Some limited bookings will be taken and the following will apply:

* All bookings will be administered by the Village Hall Bookings Manager.

* An administration charge of £5 per hour of use will be payable to Wye Village Hall.

* Regular bookings will ONLY be accepted from groups/clubs who can show 'Strong Links With Wye'.  These bookings will be limited and the Parish Council/Village Hall reserve the right to refuse bookings.

* Regular bookings are displayed on this website, you can see them by clicking on the Bookings Diary button.

* Bookings will NOT be taken for childrens parties, though parents can arrive at the MUGA and use it if no one else is (remember open access).

The MUGA opened in July 2014 and was a joint venture between Wye with Hinxhill Parish Council and Wye Village Hall and Recreation Ground Charity.  The cost was raised through support from project partners; Sport England 'Inspired Facilities Programme', Wye Children's Field Playing Field Charity, The Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation, Friends of Lady Joanna Thornhill Primary School, Kent County Council and Ashford Borough Council.

The booking policy will be reviewed regularly and the Parish Council/Village Hall reserve the right to change it should it become evident that bookings are becoming detrimental to the main aim of of 'Open Access Sporting Facilities for 11-18 year olds'.
