Open Day a Success
On Saturday 17th November the Open Day to show off the newly refurbished large hall, as well as the groups who currently use the halls, was a success. Many villagers turned up to see Jane Loudon and Etienne Pradier and Damien Green cut the ribbons and stayed to have a glass of fizz and have a look at the work of the Wye WI, the Wye Short Mat Bowls Club, Wye Tennis Club, Wye Gardeners Society to name only a few of the groups who have a home at the halls. They also admired the new meeting room created at the front of the building, enjoyed by the teddy bears having a committee meeting to decide on the new chair bear, and a demonstration of how flammable the old cedar roof tiles were at the end of their life.
